Edel Browne is a PMP-qualified Program Manager at Tympany Medical, where she has full oversight of the PMO function and is part of the senior management team. She is a co-founder of the PMO Forum and was previously named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list for Science & Healthcare. Edel serves on the Senate of the NUI and is a Director of the Galway University Foundation. She also sits on the advisory board of the JE Cairnes School of Business & Economics and is an alum of the University of Galway, Kings Inns, and the Washington Ireland Programme.

Edel is actively engaged in regional development activities for the west. She serves on the Senate of the National University of Ireland (NUI), contributing to governance and strategy at a national level. She is also a Director of the Board of the Galway University Foundation, which manages philanthropic support for the University of Galway, her alma mater. In addition, she sits on the External Advisory Board of the JE Cairnes School of Business & Economics at the University, where she focuses on regional economic development and innovation in the West of Ireland.
Edel holds both a BSc and MSc from the University of Galway and is an alum of Kings Inns, the Washington Ireland Programme, and several leadership and entrepreneurship initiatives. Her multidisciplinary background spans science, business, law, and public policy, equipping her with a unique perspective on complex challenges in the med-tech and innovation sectors.
