Fiona McLoughlin, Head of Talent Acquisition, Dexcom Ireland
Fiona McLoughlin is a senior talent acquisition leader with a track record of building and scaling global hiring strategies in complex, matrixed, high-growth environments. In January 2024, Fiona was appointed to set up and lead the talent acquisition strategy for Dexcom’s greenfield manufacturing facility in Athenry, giving her the opportunity to shape how the organisation attracts, engages, and builds critical capabilities, in an increasingly competitive global MedTech market. Dexcom in Athenry will ultimately create approximately 1,000 jobs as part of its major expansion in Ireland, making it one of the biggest single private investments in the West of Ireland.
Prior to joining Dexcom, Fiona led global Talent Acquisition for TE Connectivity’s $9.2 billion Transportation Solutions segment, partnering with executive leadership to drive workforce planning, location strategy, and executive hiring across a global footprint of nearly 150 locations. Fiona has led EMEA talent acquisition and attraction across 16 countries in Northern / Southern Europe and Africa, managing geographically dispersed teams spanning Morocco, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the UK and Ireland. In TE, Fiona’s passion for, and commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion led to her appointment as Global Communications Lead for the Women in Networking (WIN) Employee Resource Group.
Fiona has broad experience translating business strategy into impactful talent solutions and for championing inclusive hiring in high-performing organisations.
Fiona holds a First-Class Honours degree in English and Italian, along with a First-Class master’s degree in information systems management from the University of Galway.
