Iarid Gomez is an Applications Specialist at IPG Photonics Canada, where she supports implementation of the LDD Inline Process Monitor — an OCT-based measurement system.
Her work focuses on the application and integration of this advanced technology with IPG optics across sectors such as e-mobility, automotive, and medical devices.
In the MedTech space, she has contributed to adapting the LDD system for high-precision, non-contact measurement tasks, enabling robust quality assurance and process correction in sensitive manufacturing environments. Iarid holds an Honours BSc in Medical Physics with a Minor in Mathematics from the University of Windsor.
