Previously Paul was Vice President of Operations Quality at Medtronic, and also held senior roles with responsibility for Design Assurance, Reliability Engineering, Supplier Quality and Post-Market Surveillance. These roles, together with his BSc and MSc in Industrial Chemistry, and Diploma in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology (meeting the EU requirements for a Qualified Person), have equipped him with a deep understanding of the Lifescience R&D and Operations sectors. Paul has deployed his skills across both Manufacturing and R&D, in Medtech, drug/device combination products, and human and animal tissue based technologies.
He has experience of working on a global scale, having led organisations and teams in North America, Europe and Asia, and working with Regulatory Agencies in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Paul has led organizational change and implemented strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness whilst maintaining regulatory compliance and meeting business needs in a dynamic, global, regulatory landscape.
