Rob Scheid, Director UK & Ireland, Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI)
Rob Scheid has been Director Invest, UK & Ireland for Germany Trade & Invest and head of GTAI’s London Office since 2018. He advises and supports companies based in the UK and Ireland seeking to establish or expand their business presence in Germany. He has been working with medtech and healthtech companies to navigate the German market for several years. In addition to his primary role, he also acts as Ambassador for Germany’s de:hub German Ecosystems and works to connect start-ups and ecosystem players between Germany, Ireland and the UK. Rob has been with GTAI for 17 years, previously as head of GTAI’s Milan Office, as well as GTAI's Press Officer for English-language media in Berlin. He holds a degree in International Business from Butler University, USA, and an M.A. from the Philipps-University of Marburg, Germany. He speaks English, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.
