Shauna Flanagan
Shauna Flanager, R&D Engineer, Boston Scientific
Shauna Flanagan has been an R&D Engineer at Boston Scientific for over 6 years, working on drug eluting stents (DES) and most recently drug coated balloons (DCB). Prior to joining R&D she worked in the Boston Scientific Quality division investigating drug eluting stent (DES) and structural heart valve complaints.
Shauna has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology and a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Science, both from the University of Galway.
Shauna is a committee member for Society of Women Engineers (SWE) at Boston Scientific Galway and is passionate about promoting diversity in engineering, supporting women in STEM, and fostering an inclusive professional community. In her free time Shauna enjoys reading, baking, hiking and trips home to the west coast of Co. Clare.
