Simon Faulkner, Senior Client Adviser, Life Sciences & Healthtech, Enterprise Ireland
Simon is a Senior Client Advisor within Enterprise Ireland’s Life Sciences & HealthTech Department. He works closely with Life Sciences and HealthTech companies in relation to supporting growth, innovation and international expansion, with a strong emphasis on the development of value-added collaborations across the wider RDI ecosystem.
Simon joined Enterprise Ireland in 2024, initially as a Senior Programme Manager as part of the agency’s Research and Innovation Division, where he was responsible for the management of the EI/IDA Technology Centre Programme. Prior to joining Enterprise Ireland, he held roles within IDA Ireland’s Medical Technologies Department as both a Technologist (Scientific Advisor) and as Project Manager for a portfolio of US-Midwest headquartered clients.
Simon has spent more than a decade in industry across a range of technical, commercial and leadership roles within the Life Sciences sector. He holds a PhD in Reproductive Physiology from University College Dublin and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Practice from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
