Yvonne Comer is Senior Innovation Catalyst at the PorterShed, a leading innovation hub in Galway supporting the creation of high-impact, sustainable jobs through entrepreneurship, investment and ecosystem collaboration. She works with early-stage founders across multiple sectors, helping to turn bold ideas into scalable businesses.
An alumna of the BioInnovate Fellowship, Yvonne brings a strong foundation in user-driven innovation and commercialisation. She also supports regional investment activity as HBAN Regional Support, working closely with WestBIC to build the pipeline of investor-ready startups across the West and Northwest.
A former international rugby player, Yvonne co-founded RugbySmarts, a tech startup applying computer vision and machine learning to automate performance analysis in sport. She serves on the Boards of the IRFU, Vision Sports Ireland and Changing Ireland, and is a mentor with the European Innovation Council.
