Laura Pietz holds a MSc in textile engineering from TU Dresden. After her studies, she worked in the R&D department of the medical device manufacturer and could gain valuable experience in development in the medical environment. Now she is working in the research group for "Bio- and Medical Textile" as a research asscociate at the "Institute for Textile
Machinery and High Performance Material Technology" and can look back on almost10 years of experience in the development of bio- and medical textiles.
